is Costs To Serve Girls
Each
year, the Council spends hundreds of thousands of dollars
to keep the Girl Scout program fresh and available to any
girl who wishes to be a part of this great organization.
Though the costs may be large, the benefits are immeasurable!
$21,431.56
- provides a full year of the Gazette, Girl Scouts
of Northeast Georgia's newsletter (printed 6 times per year).

- the cost of supporting one girl for one year in Girl Scouts.

- provides for the cost of one troop leader's training,
resources and printed materials (calendars, enrichments,
guides, etc.) for a year.

- power bills for one year at all camp property sites ($17.40
per day).

- the average actual cost to send one girl to Day Camp for
one week.

- covers the cost of one day's worth of telecommunications
expenses (i.e. website, telephone and e-mail service, voicemail
and fax, etc.) to support membership in our jurisdiction.

to cover membership and program fees.
For
every 100 girls who become Girl Scouts:
* 4 will earn the Gold Award
* 12 will have their first contact with
a church or synagogue
* 5 will earn their church religious award
* 18 will develop hobbies used during their
adult life
* 8 will enter a vocation that was learned
through a badge or patch program
* 1 will enter the clergy
* 17 will be future Girl Scout volunteers
* 1 will use her Girl Scouting skills to
save a life
* 1 will use her Girl Scouting skills to
save her own life
