Girl Scouts of Northeast Georgia

STOMP

Strong Troops Obtaining Maximum Potential, or STOMP, is an initiative of the Girl Scouts of Northeast Georgia which is designed to reach girls in underserved areas in order to provide positive female role-models and help girls avoid risky behaviors such as teen pregnancy, drug use, etc. by giving them a healthy outlet.

This initiative is primarily funded by grants and donations. When you support the STOMP initiative, and other outreach programs like it, you are not only helping the Girl Scouts of Northeast Georgia expand into underserved communities, but you are also enabling girls whose family finances or situations would prohibit them from participating in many activities.

All necessary materials for girls in this initiative are supplied through STOMP grants and donations. There are currently STOMP troops or groups in Clarke, Hall and Greene counties.

If you would like to support this and other outreach initiatives of the Girl Scouts of Northeast Georgia, contact LaDon Shaw in either the Athens or Gainesville office.
