Gamma Sigma
The
purpose of this sorority is to expose older girls to the
opportunities and benefits of being a Girl Scout. Girls
at this age begin to think the image of Girl Scouting is
nerdy and unpopular. However, most girls agree that program
and activities offered by the GSUSA and our council are
fun, enriching and relevant. The sorority in essence is
a marketing tool used to encourage and promote the values
of Girl Scouting. It will focus on opportunities for Cadette
and Seniors, such as Silver and Gold Awards and Wider Ops.
There
are five officers in a GGS chapter. President, Vice President,
Secretary, Treasurer/Assistant Secretary, and Parliamentarian/Historian.
